SMART CLASSROOMS
The usage of technology in classrooms is an important talking point across all campuses. At IIM Tiruchirappalli, fully air-conditioned SMART Classrooms are augmented with AV automation and acoustic treatment. It comprises of latest Audio-Visual solutions like HD Document Camera/Visualizer, Interactive tablets, DSP Mixers, centralized monitoring and control system, ceiling microphones, Ultra short throw Interactive Projectors, Full HD projectors, HD Cameras for capturing faculty and students etc.
VIDEO CONFERENCING SYSTEMS
The video conferencing systems have been setup in the 250-seater classroom, 80-seater classrooms, 50-seater classrooms, Board room and the Placement office. From the AV control rooms, the technician can switch/focus/select the camera inputs of all the classrooms and control/tune the Audio & Video devices according to the requirements.
INTERACTIVE DISPLAYS AND PROJECTORS
80” Interactive displays are installed in the Board-room, Dean’s conference room and IT conference room which has multi touch interactive functionality. Ultra short throw projectors installed in the 25-seater classrooms also have interactive functionality. Interactive tablets and document cameras (Visualizer) are also available in some of the classrooms. Interactive button panels are available at all the classrooms for controlling the audio-visual devices.
MINI AUDITORIUM
The fully air-conditioned multipurpose mini theatre can accommodate an audience of 250 strength at a time with sound reinforcement system and video conferencing facility. Projection facilities for films, slides, large screen videos and multimedia presentation are also available in the 250-seater hall.
