The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT) invites nominations of faculty members for the first batch of 'Nurturing Future Leadership' Programme under the aegis of 'Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme' (MMTTP) 2024.

Date: March 24-28, 2024

Venue: Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT) campus

The intensive 5-days Faculty development programme will be led by Prof. Satish S Maheswarappa and Prof. Upam Pushpak Makhecha

The aim of this NFLP is that the participants (teachers/faculty) will be able to gain an understanding of the academic leadership requirements across multiple domains

• Crafting an ecosystem for academic excellence through vision, mission, and strategy and stakeholder management for effective organizations.
• Managing functional facets such as financial aspects and intellectual property rights aspects, positioning the institution brand for national and international markets, and enhancing research and publication capabilities.
• Honing soft skills such as leadership, communication, influencing, negotiation, emotional intelligence, stress management, and team dynamics.
• Handling the student interface through mentoring and counselling students and advancing pedagogical interventions in sync with emerging technologies.
