Brief Profile:

Kesavan Srinivasan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Madras University, with First rank and MBA from PSG College of Technology (Autonomous Institution of Bharathiar University), and professional certifications of CISA and CIA, from ISACA and IIA respectively.

He is a career Civil Servant from the 1988 batch of IA&AS  and is currently working as Deputy Comptroller & Auditor General, at the Apex level in the bureaucracy . He is also the Chairperson of Government Accounting Standards Advisory Board. 

He has over 3 decades of experience in the areas of policy, audit, accounting, governance, and fund management. He had previously worked with leading corporates, and also been on assignments with Foreign governments, United Nations and its organs. He has published papers in International Journals as a practitioner and participated and led national and international Seminars, and also worked as Subject Matter Expert with foreign governments and international organisations, and also headed an International Training and Research facility of Information Science and Audit. 

He is currently pursuing his Executive DPM (2020 Batch) in the area of Finance. He is interested in the area of ESG and its interface with the area of Finance and would be pursuing his goal of research in sustainable finance.
